Good Saturday afternoon CrossFit Chelsea!

 

  • In case you missed it, we pushed the Barbell Bash back to September 1st. Yes, that’s Labor day, but we are sure hoping you want to join us for some fun!

  • It’s July & crazy hot! We are trying to keep the gym as cool as possible, but there’s only so much a fan can do!  Remember there is water in the fridge for all recurring memberships and there are cold FitAids in the lobby! Be sure to drink lots of water before you ever come to the gym!!

 

  • We are excited to announce that we will have the world-class Jump N Rope team coming to CrossFit Chelsea in January for a seminar! It’ll last between 1 hour and 2 hours and will improve your double unders without a doubt!!
    The cost is $65 per person and we only have 14 slots available!

  • The Marathon Row was a blast! Thanks to everyone that came out for the event!! Now, I never want to do that by myself! Glad I know that now!

 

  • Emilee put a note up on the whiteboard, but here’s some more details on what kind of donations she’s looking for:

“I’ll be collecting donations for Two by Two Rescue, mainly for the outdoor kennels. So anything an outdoor dog would need- stainless food bowls, old blankets towels sheets, dog first aid, food, toys, meds, grooming supplies, leashes, collars, harnesses, slip leashes. Pretty much anything. I go there every couple weeks so there isn’t a deadline or anything.”

Here’s the week’s programming (Check daily for Project Vigilante work!)

 

Monday:

We continue our Backsquat cycle. You’ll need to know what weights you did on July 20th, so check FitChalk for the weights you moved on July 20th!

 

The MetCon is a riff on the handstand walk event from the Games! I’m looking forward to making a fool of myself on this one!

 

 

Tuesday:

We’ll be strict pressing and then really working on that core!! #insta6packWOD

 

 

Wednesday:

It’s clean day!

We’ll work on our cleans and then apply it during the workout! Also….

 

 

 

 

Thursday:

A bit of a you go/I go type workout. You’ll do 2 movements then your partner will do 2 movements and the next round you’ll trade! Make sure your hands are ready for rig work!

 

Friday:

It’s snatch day! We’ll work on our snatch technique and finish off the week with an EMOTM that should take us through the weekend rather well!
