Good Saturday afternoon CrossFit Chelsea!


  • In case you missed it, we pushed the Barbell Bash back to September 1st. Yes, that’s labor day, but we are sure hoping you want to join us for some fun!

  • It’s July & crazy hot! We are trying to keep the gym as cool as possible, but there’s only so much a fan can do!  Remember there is water in the fridge for all recurring memberships and there are cold FitAids in the lobby! Be sure to drink lots of water before you ever come to the gym!!


  • Thanks to everyone that completed the survey! We had a great response rate of 48 people (so far)! Pretty clear you guys like FitChalk and email to communicate so we will focus our efforts there!


  • I’m writing this Thursday (I’ve got to go out of town for part of the weekend) so I have no idea how the “Marathon Row” has gone, but based on what I’ve seen on social media today about how the Games athletes are feeling… I think we got the better end of that deal!


  • Emilee put a note up on the whiteboard, but here’s some more details on what kind of donations she’s looking for:

“I’ll be collecting donations for Two by Two Rescue, mainly for the outdoor kennels. So anything an outdoor dog would need- stainless food bowls, old blankets towels sheets, dog first aid, food, toys, meds, grooming supplies, leashes, collars, harnesses, slip leashes. Pretty much anything. I go there every couple weeks so there isn’t a deadline or anything.”

Loved some of the Age Group Division workouts… so you’ll see one today!




It’s deload week, so we’ll get our squats in, but at a lower percentage than we usually do!

The met con should be a fun one with 3 3 minute AMRAPs with some rest in between!




Did you guys enjoy last week’s bear crawl? Sure heard a lot of “feedback” on that one! Well no new movements today, just a good ole chipper with some movements you already know!

Oh, and we’ll bench before!


Team Thursday:

I REALLY liked the Rope & Yoke workout at the Games, so I tried to come up with a team version that we could do without a yoke. Bonus time (-30s)  for actually jumping over your partner in between movements!



Some pull up work and then we’re going to play with some of the odd objects around the gym!
